BEL AIR, Md. – The Harford Athletic Department has announced the decision to suspend the men's varsity golf program after the recently-concluded 2014-15 season. The Fighting Owls now offer 13 intercollegiate sports at the NJCAA Division I level.
"On behalf of the college, I would like to extend thanks to head coach
Dave Correll for his efforts with the program over the last eight seasons," Harford Athletic Director
Ken Krsolovic said.
Of the 16 colleges in the Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (MD JUCO) and 26 schools in Region XX, only Hagerstown (14) offers more sports than Harford after Wednesday's decision.
