Tiffany Taylor finished with 21 points, eight steals and six rebounds in the loss.
For the second-straight game, the Fighting Owls trailed by two at the half and immediately took a brief one-point lead in the second half. Frederick then scored 10 consecutive points in just 41 seconds after applying a full-court pressure to regain the lead and never looked back.
Kelly Smith scored a career-high 11 points, while
Amanda Mackey added 10 markers in the loss.
The Fighting Owls return home on Monday for the first game of a doubleheader beginning at noon.
