WYE MILLS, Md. - The Harford women's basketball team (5-8, 1-4 MDJUCO) lost its first game of the 2011 calendar year at Chesapeake, 73-35.

Tiffany Taylor scored 15 points in the team's first game in 18 days. She shot 5-for-22, however in the loss. Aniya Rolle and Tiff Smith tallied 11 and eight points, respectively.

The Fighting Owls trailed by just one point with six minutes remaining, but the Skipjacks turned up the pressure for the big win. Just three minutes into the second half, Cheaspeake's lead had grown to 20 points.
