Tiffany Taylor, who sat out with an injury.
The Fighting Owls were in foul trouble throughout the contest, and actualy finished the game with four eligible players. Harford dominated inside the paint, but missed 17 free throws in the loss.
Freshman point guard
Shelby Key led the team with 17 points, including 15 in the second half.
Kourtney Orr chipped in with 12 points and seven rebounds in her debut, while
Kabrina Johnson scored 10 with nine caroms.
Allanah Galloway added nine rebounds in defeat.
The Fighting Owls host Atlantic Cape on Friday in their home opener, which will be played at the old Aberdeen High School.
