ARNOLD, Md. - Freshman guard
Tiffany Taylor recorded the program's second triple double in a 58-46 road victory over Anne Arundel on Monday.
Taylor netted a game-high 31 points while pulling in 18 rebounds and collecting 10 steals. This marked the third time the freshman tallied at least 30 points while falling one rebound short of a career-high. This was her ninth double-digit rebound game and the second time that she nabbed 10 steals in her career.
The triple double was the second in the program's history.
Sarah Spalt recorded the school's first in a 2008 win over Philadelphia. She tallied 28 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists while adding seven steals on 11-of-13 shooting. She assisted on 11 of the 17 baskets that she did not score on in her amazing game.
The Fighting Owls (9-15, 3-9) have one conference game remaining this week, a make-up contest at Hagerstown on Thursday at 4 p.m. Harford could clinch the No. 9 seed with a victory. HCC travels to Valley Forge Military on Wednesday for a non-conference contest.
