LARGO, Md. - The Harford baseball team (18-6, 3-2) defeated Prince George's on Tuesday, 12-2 in seven innings. The Fighting Owls picked up their first road conference win of the season scoring 12 times on nine hits.
Thomas O'Neill improved to 2-0 while scattering four hits in five innings while striking out four and walking none. He gave up just one run in the second inning.
Offensively,
Anthony Ortiz and
James Wilson both hit their first career home runs in the victory.
Cullen Wolf came off the bench and went 2-for-2 for Harford.
The Fighting Owls doubleheader with Potomac State, originally scheduled for Wednesday, has been postponed to April 12 at 2 p.m. Harford will take on Dundalk on Thursday at Harford Sports Complex with a 6:30 p.m. start.
