Baseball Improves to 29-8 In Wet Win

BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford baseball team (29-8, 12-4) defeated Prince George's in a rain-shortened game on Wednesday, 6-1. The contest ended in the middle of the fifth.

Jason Seitler earned the win tossing three innings without allowing a run. He scattered three hits and struck out six.

Chrisitan Wolfe belted his team-leading fourth home run of the season in the first, a two-run shot to right field. He finished with three RBIs.

Anthony Ortiz and Matt Lugullo both went 2-for-2 in the rain-soaked contest.

The Fighting Owls host Delaware County on Wednesday at 3 p.m. and face Cecil on Thursday in a special contest at Ripken Stadium. Call 443-412-2044 for tickets for Thursday's 6:30 p.m. start.
