ARNOLD, Md. - The Harford softball team (13-21) dropped a pair of games at Anne Arundel on Monday. The Fighting Owls dropped game one 4-0 and game two 11-1 in five innings.

The Fighting Owls received solid pitching from Rachael Lange, but managed just one hit in the loss. Lange held the Pioneers to five hits while striking out five.

Anne Arundel scored a pair of runs in the third and in the fifth. Ashley Crowe had a first-inning single.

Sam Stiles clubbed her sixth home run, which ranks third in the conference. Jess Kraft added a single and Antoinette Loyco opened the third with a double.
