WYE MILLS, Md. - The Harford softball team (8-13, 4-6) ran into solid pitching in a conference road doubleheader at Chesapeake on Wendesday. The Fighting Owls were held to seven total hits in 17-0 and 8-0 losses.

In game one, The Kraft sisters provided the only offense for Harford. In the fourth inning, Jess Kraft led off with a double, which was followed by a single by sister Becky Kraft, but the Fighting Owls were held off the scoreboard.

In game two, pitching star Rachael Lange went 2-for-2 at the plate.

The Fighting Owls return to the diamond on Friday at Brookdale.
