BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford men's soccer team (7-5-0) scored early and often in a 5-2 victory over Del Tech Stanton (2-6-0) on Monday. The Fighting Owls led 3-0 at one point and outshot the visitors 25-3.
Except for a two-minute lapse in the second half, where DT-Stanton's Paul Amponsah scored two quick goals, the Fighting Owls dominated the flow of play.
Felipe Botteon was in a giving mood, handing out four assists in the win.
Glenn Grove had a pair of fancy goals, while
Dylan Tipton also scored after halftime.
Ben Rushby got Harford on the board just two minutes in off a one-touch from a Botteon corner kick. Ten minutes later,
Saidu Sankoh made it 2-0 with a flurry in front of the box.
The Fighting Owls travel to Hagerstown on Wednesday.
