YORK, Pa. - For the second time in as many games this season, the Harford women's basketball team (2-0) recorded triple digits in a road victory. The Fighting Owls toppled Penn State-York on Wednesday, 105-49.
Tiffany Taylor led six Fighting Owls in double figures with 31 points on 12-of-13 shooting. The sophomore shot 5-of-6 fom 3-point land and tallied a game-high eight assists to go along with six rebounds.
Overall, Harford shot a blistering 74.1 percent from the floor (43-for-58) and 12-for-18 from behind the arc.
Rachel Cocoros netted 18 points including four 3-pointers, while
Shelby Key added 15 points.
Capree Garner and
Bree Lewis tallied 14 points each while Na'Kya Keitt had 13.
The Fighting Owls travel to Atlantic Cape on Saturday before their home opener in the brand new APG Federal Credit Union Arena on Nov. 15 against Delaware County.
