BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford softball team (8-29, 6-14 MD JUCO) dropped both home games against Southern Maryland (17-8, 12-6 MD JUCO) on Friday. The Fighting Owls lost 13-5 and 14-3 in a pair of games that were closer than the final score indicated.

The Hawks pieced together a seven-run seventh inning to pull away in the opener, and strung together a few crooked numbers in game two to put Harord away.

Brittany Kinnear went 6-for-7 on the afternoon with a double and a triple. The Fighting Owls travel to Prince George's on Wednesday.
