ARNOLD, Md. - The Harford baseball team (26-7, 11-1 MD JUCO) rode another dominant pitching performance from Brandon Franke to a 15-4 rout against rival Anne Arundel (20-11, 5-6 MD JUCO) on Thursday. The Fighting Owls jumped out to a 13-0 lead in the road victory.

Franke (2-2) went seven strong innings, holding the Pioneers to no runs and just two hits in his first six innings. He finished with five hits allowed and four runs while striking out five and walking one.

Kyle Lindsey went 4-for-5 with four RBIs and three runs scored while Norm Donkin crushed a three-run home run and totaled four RBIs in the win.

Cory Shaver went 3-for-4 with a double, Jon McAllister added three hits and Nick Octavi and Dennis Mitchell chippe in with two hits apiece. Jerry Jerminski went 2-for-2 with two doubles, two walks and a sacrific fly.

Matt Petrizzi pitched a perfect eighth inning to close out the contest.

The Fighting Owls host Frederick on Friday at 1 p.m.
