Box Score Largo, Md. - Harford Softball (10-29, 8-14) won both games of a double-header against Prince George's (2-34, 2-18), 10-4 and 6-4 respectively.
Deanna Butler pitched two complete games to secure the wins for the Fighting Owls.
In game 1, the Fighting Owls never trailed beating Prince George's 10-4. Butler pitched a complete game for the win, scattering eight hits and striking out five.
Antoinnette Loyco and
Jess Sanders both had two hits in game one of the double-header.
In the night cap Harford trailed 4-3 going into the top of the seventh inning.
Briitany Kinnear led off the inning with a single and eventually scored the game tying run on a wild pitch.
Ashley Crowe followed with a single and
Brooke Olszewski drove in the eventual game winning run with a triple down the right field line. Butler retired the side in order in the bottom of the seventh to secure the 6-4 win.
Women's Softball's next action will be in the NJCAA District Championships beginning May 12th.
