BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford women's basketball team (4-0) set a school record with 116 points in a 70-point victory over Delaware Tech on Tuesday. Sophomore Capree Garner also set the individual scoring mark with 46 points.

Garner broke a three-year old scoring mark, set by last year's teammate Tiffany Taylor who netted 41 points in an overtime win over Garrett in 2010. Garner shot 17-for-26 from the flor, 3-for-6 from behind the arc and 9-for-12 from the line in the milestone win.

Harford's 116 points topped the 113 the Fighting Owls scored last season against Atlantic Cape. The Fighting Owls le 59-29 at the half.

Garner added 11 rebounds, eight assists and five steals in the win. Ashley Smith scored 23 points and had 11 assists while Dasha Moore added 18 markers. Connor Hanley chipped in with 13 and nine.

The Fighting Owls host Harcum on Thursday at 5 p.m.
