BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford women's basketball team (8-1) continued to roll through their non-conference schedule with an 86-56 victory over Penn State-York on Monday. The Fighting Owls led by 15 at the break and used a late 22-3 run to put the game completely out of reach.
Capree Garner led all scorers with 30 points on 11-of-19 shooting. She added five assists and five steals in the win.
Dasha Moore and
Ashley Smith also reached double figures with 20 and 11 points, respectively. Both freshmen had seven rebounds, but Smith added six assists and steals for Harford.
Toineisha Nightingale scored nine points, while
Connor Hanley netted eight off the bench for the Fighting Owl forwards. The Nittany Lions werte led by Hannah York's 22 markers and Brittany Kint's 15.
Harford travels to Frederick on Dec. 4 for their next contest.
