BEL AIR, Md. - Sophomore guard Capree Garner netted her 1,000th point in an 83-39 win over Howard on Saturday. The All-American guard scored a game-high 37 points in the victory.

Garner joins her former teammate Tiffany Taylor as the second Fighting Owl to reach the illustrious scoring mark. The nation's leading scorer was 12-of-33 from the floor and pulled in a career-high 19 rebounds. She also chipped in with six steals and five assists.

Connor Hanley added 13 points while Ashley Smith netted 11. Dasha Moore scored 10 markers and had a career-high eight helpers for Harford (10-1, 3-1 MD JUCO).

The Fighting Owls host Hagerstown on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
