ARNOLD, Md. - The Harford baseball team (11-3, 3-0 MD JUCO) scored three runs in the top of the first and never looked back in taking down former rival Anne Arundel (3-6, 1-1 MD JUCO) on Wednesday on the road, 11-6. Jon McAllister had three hits in the victory.

McAllister opened the contest with a line drive single to center. After a pair of bunt singles, the sophomore centerfielder scored on Jordan Glover's fielder's choice. McAllister singled to center in the second and singled to the pitcher in the fourth to complete his 3-for-4 day.

Shane Garrett extended his hitting streak to 13 games to open the season with a bunt sinlge in the first. Norm Donkin and Justin Gartner both collected two hits in the win.

Matt Petrizzi dazzled on the mound, scattering six hits and allowing one run in five innings. He improved to 2-0 on the season.

The Fighting Owls return home to face CCBC Essex in a single conference game at 3 p.m. on Thursday.
