BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford softball team (5-8) lost a pair to the two-time defending NJCAA Champions from Gloucester County (6-0) on Friday. The Fighting Owls fell 9-0 and 15-0.
Becca Steele collected Harford's only hit in the opener, a 5th inning single. In game two,
Taylor Stiles went 2-for-2.
Brittany Stine took the loss in game one despite pitching well. She allowed just two balls to leave the infield, but the Roadrunners used a quality small-ball game to defeat the home team. In game two, Gloucester scored seven runs in the first inning and Steele took the loss.
Harford hosts conference foe Prince George's on Saturday at noon.
