Baseball Takes Down Del Tech, 12-10

BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford baseball team won its 27th game of the season behind a solid offensive output. The Fighting Owls beat Delaware Tech, 12-10, on Wednesday night.

Jerry Jerminski had four hits and Jordan Glover and Norm Donkin chipped in with three base knocks to lead the charge. Glover knocked in two and had a pair of doubles while Donkin scored three times and had two RBIs.

Nick Freeberger had two hits that included a triple and Rob Koski hit a home run for the winners.

Brian Cibula gave up a home run on the first pitch of the game, struggled through a three-run second inning, but then settled in to pitch seven solid innings. He scattered nine hits for his first win of the season.

Trevor Alley came in and collected the save after Del Tech mounted a comeback. He got the tying run to ground into a fielder's choice to end the game.

Harford hosts CCBC Dundalk on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
