Box Score 1 | Box Score 2
BEL AIR, Md. - Harford head coach Tom Eller won his 200th career game in the opener of a doubleheader split on Saturday. The Fighting Owls (28-12, 13-5 MD JUCO) defeated Chesapeake (21-12, 10-3 MD JUCO) in the opener, 4-2, for the milestone win before falling 6-3 in game two.

Eller, Harford's all-time winningest coach, won his 200th game in his 339th career contest. He took just 133 contests between win No. 100 to No. 200, earning a 100-33 mark. Click here to read more about his accomplishment.

Harford 4, Chesapeake 2
Sophomore Kyle Hurley improved to 7-1 with a solid performance in Harford's Region XX Division I opener. He scattered seven hits while striking out eight and walking none. He was charged with two runs, one earned in the victory.

Shane Garrett went 2-for-3 with his third home run of the season and Norm Donkin had an RBI in the Fighting Owls' three-run first inning. Donkin also earned his MD JUCO-best seventh save of the year.

Chesapeake 6, Harford 3
Sophomore Matt Petrizzi fell to 2-2 on the year in the game two loss. He allowed six runs, though only two of them were earned while striking out four.

The Fighting Owls were just 1-for-10 with runners in scoring position, and all three runs scored on groundouts. Harford took a 1-0 lead in the second on Rob Koski's RBI groundout.

Chesapeake scored two unearned runs in the fourth and added four more runs in the fifth. The first two runs scored after the Harford infield failed to turn an inning-ending double play, and the final two scored unearned on a passed ball and error by the catcher.

Harford chipped away and brought the winning run to the plate with two outs in the seventh, but Jerry Jerminski flied out to deep center field with the bases loaded to end the game.

Harford hosts Prince George's on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
