WYE MILLS, Md. - The No. 20 Chesapeake softball team (22-0, 12-0 MD JUCO) swept Harford (10-15, 8-8 MD JUCO) on Saturday. The Fighting Owls fell 12-4 and 9-1.

Harford took a 2-0 lead in the opener on a two-run single by Erin Morrissey to score Tajae Harris and Taylor Stiles. Chesapeake scored six times in the third to take the lead for good. Stiles collected a pair of RBIs later in the game with a double.

In game two, Taylor Edwards tied the game at 1-1 when she scored on a groundout. The third inning was eventful again for Chesapeake, as the Skipjacks scored five times to put the game away.

Brittany Stein took the loss in both games.

Harford travels to Lackawanna on Sunday.
