Box Score BEL AIR, Md. -- Harford Women's Basketball jumped all over Cecil, cruising to a 106-26 bounce-back victory on Saturday afternoon.

The Fighting Owls played a dominant first half, jumping out 72-7, not allowing a single made field goal from the field by Cecil. The Seahawks scored all seven of their first half points from the free throw line.

It was a solid response from the Fighting Owls (17-5, 9-2 MD JUCO) who were sunk by Baltimore City on Thursday on a last second, go-ahead basket by the Panthers. Harford showed no carryover effects from that loss, jumping all over Cecil (2-18, 0-9 MD JUCO) who were a clear underdog from the opening tip.

Capree Garner led all scorers with 31 points in the game. She scored 26 in the first half and played just seven minutes in the second half, scoring five.

Ashley Smith scored 24 points, shooting 9-of-14 from the field. She shot a red-hot six-of-seven from beyond the three-point line.

Dasha Moore scored 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field while dishing out eight assists. Connor Hanley scored in double-figures with 12 points while collecting nine rebounds.

The Fighting Owls will be back on the hardwood on Wednesday at 5 PM when they play host to Anne Arundel.
