BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford women's basketball team's furious second-half comeback effort fell short in an 89-81 MD JUCO defeat to Baltimore City on Tuesday.

The Panthers pulled it together and executed down the stretch, especially from the foul line, where BCCC attempted 50 free throws.
Zana Godoy scored 20 of her 21 points in the second half and led the charge while
Mia Fitts totaled 19 points, with 15 coming after the break. Ashley Hightower added 14 points and 20 rebounds for the Fighting Owls.
The Fighting Owls travel to CCBC Dundalk on Friday for an 8 p.m. tipoff.
