BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford baseball team (10-11-1, 4-2 MD JUCO) earned a conference DH split behind the complete game shutout performance by freshman hurler
Anthony Atticks. The Fighting Owls won game two against Montgomery (7-4, 1-1 MD JUCO), 5-0.

The Raptors scored a pair of unearned runs with two outs in the top of the seventh after a two-out error extended the game. John Hanley snuck a ground ball past a diving second baseman for the game-winning hit two batters later.
Ben Collincini was the tough-luck loser, falling to 0-2 and blowing his first save of the season.
Dalton Reed went 5.2 innings as the starter, scattering four hits and allowing one run while striking out four and walking two. He retired the first nine batters in order before a leadoff single started Montgomery's offensive day.
Harford was held to three hits, and one after the two-run first inning, a soft liner by
Daulton Weeks with one out in the seventh.
Cody Brittain had an RBI single and
Rob Koski laced a run-scoring double in the opening frame.

Atticks tossed a seven-inning shutout in game two, He scattered four hits while striking out five batters and walking three. He induced a pair of double play ground balls, including one in the seventh inning to end the game. Montgomery had one runner get past second base.
Harford scratched a run across in the fourth and sixth innings but put it out of reach with a three-run fifth.
CJ Young doubled and stole third. He scored on
Cody Brittain's single to right field. Brittain advanced to third on a fielding error by the right field and scored on
Craig Joseph's sacrifice fly.
Rob Koski singled and stole second and third before scoring on
Joe Sheeran's single to center.
The Fighting Owls host CCBC Catonsville on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
