Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 LOUISBURG, N.C. - The Harford softball team (0-2) dropped its season opening doubleheader at Louisburg (8-4) on Saturday. The Fighting Owls fell 11-4 and 19-3.

The Fighting Owls led in both contests. Abby Young crushed a three-run double in the third to give Harford 3-2 lead of game one. Harford scratched out a run with a two-out rally to take a 1-0 lead in game two.

Young went 2-for-3 in game one while Tori Brooks slugged a home run. In game two, Brooks went 2-for-3 with her second homer of the day. Madison Ferrara also went 2-for-3 in game two.

The Fighting Owls take on Richard Bland on Sunday.
