Box Score BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford baseball team (13-14-1) used five pitchers to throw a combined one-hitter in a 19-0 victory over CCBC Essex (8-6) on Tuesday.
James English (2-0) earned the win in the run-shortened contest.
The Fighting Owls scored 19 runs on just eight hits. CCBC Essex pitchers issued 14 walks and hit five Harford batters. Harford batters collected an RBI five times with a bases loaded walk.
Daulton Weeks clubbed a three run home run over the Blue Monster in left field. Robert Koski reached base all four times, walking and scoring three times.
English struck out three while allowing the lone hit, a bloop over the shortstop's head. Four others pitched one inning each, including the 2014 debut of lefthander Carlos Henri Ferre.
Harford hosts Gloucester on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
