Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford softball team (7-9) dropped a pair to nationally ranked Brookdale on Thursday. The Fighting Owls lost the opener, 3-2, and then were one-hit in the nightcap, 14-1.

Harford took a 2-0 lead in the first inning on a two-run double by Fabiana Della-Monica. Sam Day held Brookdale at bay for the first five innings, allowing just one run on five hits, but a one-out rally in the sixth flipped the script for a 3-2 Brookdale lead.

In game two, Madison Ferrara stole home for Harford's lone run, but a 12-run fourth inning turned a 1-1 game into a no contest. Harford travels to CCBC Catonsville on Saturday.
