BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford women's soccer team earned its sixth-straight victory in shutout fasion on Monday, blanking Burlington, 6-0. Sophomores
Nicole Wojcik and
Savannah Humphreys both netted a pair of goals in the win.
Wojcik scored the first goal in each half. She battled with the keeper for a loose ball and won in the seventh minute to put the Fighting Owls on the board. She also connected with
Brooke Nigrin seconds into the second half for a 4-0 lead.
Humphreys stole it from a defendewr and sent the ball across the box to the bottom right corner for a 2-0 lead and flashed past the backline for the final goal of the day.
Karley Bush added her team-leading ninth goal of the season and sent a beautiful back pass to
Rachel Rivera who sniped the ball into the upper 90.
Ashley King made three second-half saves en route to her third shutout of the season. Harford hosts Cecil on Friday at 4 p.m.
