CUMBERLAND, Md. - The Harford trio of guards propelled the women's basketball team (5-1, 1-0 MD JUCO) to a road victory in its conference opener at Allegany on Tuesday, 103-41. The starting guards combined to score 62 points while making 28 field goals.

Darra Walker netted a season-high 22 points on 10-of-20 shooting and collected six steals for the Fighting Owls. Daisa Harris tallied 21 points, eight assists and seven thefts while Mia Fitts scored 19 points going 8-for-14 from the floor.

Jay Green also scored in double figures with 10 points while Essence Stinette and Sheri Addison chipped in with eight and six points, respectively.

The Fighting Owls return home on Friday to host Chesapeake at 5:30 p.m.
