Box Score SUPPLY, N.C. - The Harford women's basketball team (10-1) used a strong fourth quarter to win its 10th game of the season, earning a win on day one of the Brunswick Holiday Tournament over the host Dolphins, 85-54.
The high-energy trio of Harford guards did the damage, as
Darra Walker,
Mia Fitts and
Daisa Harris each scored at least 17 points in the win. Walker led the way with 19 points on 8-of-15 shooting, including a pair of triples, five assists and four steals. Harris netted 17 markers, handed out eight helpers, pulled in six boards and nabbed six steals while Fitts scored 17 with four 3-pointers, seven boards, five assists and five steals.
Dominique Walker had eight points, 10 caroms and eight blocked shots and
Janessa Fauntroy chipped in with 11 rebounds and six blocks as the back line of the defense.
Diamond Mickle came off the bench to led the Fighting Owls with 12 rebounds.
The Holiday Tournament defending champions are back on the court tomorrow against No. 18 Cape Fear at noon.
