Box Score 2 ABERDEEN, Md. - The Harford softball team (4-1) picked up another doubleheader sweep on Sunday, topping Cayuga (0-4), 9-0 and 10-2.
Desi Joines followed up her no-hitter with a two-hitter, and the offense continued to pile up runs, including a pair of home runs by

Joines struck out 11 without issuing a walk in the opener as the Fighting Owls cruised to a run-shortened victory. The Spartans were able to scratch off two singles in the early innings before Joines found the same strike-out groove she owned on Saturday. Joines also went 3-for-3 at the plate in the victory.
Fitzerald and
Tori Brooks both smacked home runs out of the Cal Ripken Sr. Field in the win. Brooks led off the third with a solo shot to center to make the score 2-0, and Fitzgerald bashed a solo shot over the leftfield wall later that inning.
In the second game, a big sixth inning for the home team ended the contest early. Clinging to a 3-2 lead, the Fighting Owls touched home seven times for the victory.
Katie Shultz doubled to start the frame and singled home Joines to end the game for a 10-2 win. She was also the winning pitcher.
Shultz scattered six hits, allowing two runs while striking out nine batters. She did not issue a walk to improve to 2-0 on the season. Joines, Shultz and
Fabiana Della-Monica both totaled four hits on the day while
