Box Score BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford baseball team (13-4, 4-0 MD JUCO) continued its offensive dominance in an MD JUCO contest on Tuesday, topping Prince George's, 19-2. The Fighting Owls also got six shutout innings from freshman hurler
Josh Silvestri.
Harford, the nation's leader in team hitting, on-base percentage and slugging percentage, picked up where it left off last week, pounding out 17 hits, including eight extra-base knocks.
Tanner Forry smacked a first-pitch grand slam to center field in the nine-run sixth inning, and
Dominic DiSabatino went 4-for-5 with two doubles and a triple. Both freshmen totaled five RBIs in the win.
Silvestri improved to 2-1, scattering four hits while striking out three and walking one. He set the first eight batters down in order and got 11 groundouts, including two double plays
 in six innings.
Harford scored four times in the first and three more times in the second and never looked back. Ten Fighting Owls collected at least one hit and Forry,
John Mastrangelo and
Gilbert Peralta tallied a pair of hits in the win. DiSabatino,
CJ Young and
Jack Hamner all scored three times.
The Fighting Owls continue their massive homestand with a Wednesday doubleheader with Union at 2 p.m.
