On a night where the pitching staff combined to allow just one hit, it was the power bats taking the spotlight once again for the Fighting Owls. The No. 18 ranked team hit four home runs in the game, giving the Fighting Owls 12 longballs over the last four games. Harford is currently ranked fifth in the nation with 39 round trippers on the season."

John Mastrangelo had his second multi-home run game as he hit a pair mammoth shots. The freshman is now level with
Brett Hash for the team lead with eight home runs on the season. He went 2-for-4 at the plate with five runs batted-in. Over the last four games he has 15 runs batted-in, giving him 31 on the season.

Joe Sheeran went 3-for-4 at the plate with a home run and three runs batted-in. His home run in the fourth inning, a towering blast over the blue monster, was his second of the season. He also had an RBI single in the first inning and an RBI double in the fourth inning.

Gilbert Peralta hit his second home run of the season as well. He went 2-for-4 with three runs batted-in. He followed up Mastrangelo's fourth inning home run with an equally impressive laser two batters later that landed way beyond the wall in left field.

A first inning single was all the visiting Nittany Lions could muster against the Fighting Owls pitching staff, led by
Chad Bronson. Bronson (2-0) struck out a career-high nine batters in his second start of the season. He gave up one earned run on a hit and four walks over six innings pitched.

Harford is back on the road Thursday for a conference tilt with CCBC Dundalk. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. as the Fighting Owls will look to stay undefeated in the MD JUCO conference.
