Mia Fitts scored 27 points in the Harford women's basketball team's 89-52 victory over Monroe on Thursday. The sophomore guard was 10-of-15 from the floor in the win.
The 89 points was the fourth-lowest win total for the highest scoring team in the nation. The Fighting Owls also shot 40.2 percent from the floor, the fifth-worst of the season.
Fitts, however, was not a part of the off night, going 5-for-5 from the floor in the second half with 14 points.
Daisa Harris was also her stat-stuffing self, posting 10 points, 11 assists, six rebounds and six steals.
Darra Walker and
Sheri Addison chipped in with 16 and 12 points, respectively. Both
Diamond Mickle and
Dominique Walker hauled in 10 boards in the win.
Harford travels to Howard on Wednesday.
