HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Jerry Washington tapped in a goal from a beautiful pass by Ayoub Fouadi to take the lead less than two minutes into the game.
  • Washington followed up with another goal in the 11th minute, this time it was Larsen Green who gave him a through ball to open up Washington for his 9th goal of the season; tied for 3rd most in the conference.
  • Larsen Green was able to tap in a point blank goal in the 48th minute as a cross was played to the back post by Daniel Milad which allowed Green to score for his 8th of the season.
  • The Fighting Owls missed numerous chances to extend their lead, but a combination of unlucky shots and questionable offsides calls by the referees caused those opportunities to be wasted.

  • Larsen Green has now scored a goal in his last 6 games in a row and all 19 points of his this season have come during that same stretch.
  • Neither team was called for a foul in the first half of this contest as the referee opted to keep the game moving for the first 45 minutes.
