BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford women's basketball team achieved a perfect MD JUCO record in dominant fashion on Friday, upending Southern Maryland, 121-52. The Fighting Owls 12-0 record is the first perfect conference mark in school history.
The Fighting Owls regular season conference championship caps an amazing four-year run for the program. Harford is 44-4 since the 2012-13 season and this year, the team has won every conference game by 49.3Â points per game.
Daisa Harris recorded a triple-double with 15 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds in just 14 minutes of action. Six other Fighting Owls reached double digits including
Janessa Fauntroy's double-double of 10 points and 11 markers.
Darra Walker led all scorers with 22 points while shooting 6-of-7 from behind the arc.
Dominique Walker also netted a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards on 5-of-7 shooting.
Sheri Addison chipped in with 18 points with four triples and
Mia Fitts added a dozen.
Kaschae Harris totaled 11 points and six helpers.
The Fighting Owls final regular season contest against ASA is scheduled for Monday at 5 p.m.
