Box Score BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford baseball team slugged four home runs and collected 20 hits en route to its sixth-straight victory on Friday. The Fighting Owls topped Penn State Mont Alto, 26-8.

Andrew Valichka led nine Fighting Owls with multi-hit contests with a three-hit day that included his first career home run, a solo shot to right field that kick started a nine-run fifth inning. Harford scored in seven of the eight times at bat, scoring more than once in six innings.
Daulton Weeks connected on a three-run shot to give Harford a 7-4 lead in the second. The third baseman jumped on a 3-0 fastball and sent it over the wall in right center.
Joe Burton crushed a moonshot to dead center in the fourth, plating three with the longest home run ever hit at the new Harford Sports Complex.
JP Vail blasted the fourth homer of the day in the eighth, a grand slam to deep right. Weeks and Vail finished the day with five RBIs apiece while Burton totaled six.Â
Six Fighting Owls took the hill in the long affair, with the final four pitchers combining for one run and seven strikeouts in the final 4.2 innings.
Riley Lane saw his first action of the season, striking out the first five batters he faced.
The Fighting Owls host Hagerstown in their first Region XX Division I contests in Saturday's doubleheader, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
