Joe Burton continued a streak of 13 consecutive games with a home run as a team.
Burger connected for a solo shot in the third inning to put the Fighting Owls up 3-0. It was his third of the season. Burton crushed a two-run homer to dead centerfield in the sixth inning to give Harford an 8-2 lead. It was his ninth long ball of the season. He also hit an RBI double in the fourth inning. He went 2-for-4 on the day with three RBI.
As a team the Fighting Owls had 11 hits and drew 15 walks. 10 of 14 Harford hitters to reached base.
Harford will be back in action on Thursday as they host Prince George's. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
