Box Score 2 PEMBERTON, N.J. - The Harford softball team (10-26) was swept in its final road doubleheader of the season on Tuesday. Rowan-Burlington (15-13-1) earned a pair of run-ruled victories, 10-2 and 8-0.
Burlington 10, Harford 2
The Fighting Owls took a 2-0 lead in the third when a pair of runners scored on a sacrifice fly by
Emily Wikane with an error on the rightfielder. The Barons took the lead for good in the bottom of the third, scoring three runs, two unearned.
Bethanie Cook and
Lindsey Fenner both collected two hits in the loss.
Amanda Hildebrandt went the distance but allowed 10 runs in defeat.
Burlington 8, Harford 0
The Barons erupted for seven runs in the third inning en route to the shutout in the nightcap. All seven runs were unearned as the Fighting Owls committed four errors in the third inning alone.
Cook collected two more hits, including a double, and
Julia Sanders was one of four others with one hit, while Sanders' went for two-bases.
The Fighting Owls host Anne Arundel on Wednesday at 6 p.m. for Sophomore Day.
