 HOW IT HAPPENED
  • CCBC Essex came into the game undefeated in conference play and poised as the toughest opponent in the conference to stand up to the Fighting Owls.
  • The Knights started out strong with a goal in the 9th minute of the game as Harford allowed their first goal against a conference opponent all season long as the Fighting Owls now have a 49-1 goal differential against conference foes.
  • It took just 20 seconds for Harford to get that goal back as midfielder Briana Stabile struck the back of the net to tie the game.
  • After that it was all Fighting Owls as Mackenzie Wills and Mackenzie Forsythe each tallied two goals and an assist with both Mackenzies now firmly in the top five for the conference in goals and points.
  • Rachel Bohli scored her 13th goal of the season early in the second half followed closely by Alexandria Adams who scored her 14th of the season on a Grace Humes assist.
  • Harford's defense allowed just seven shots in the game with just the one on goal as the back four of the Fighting Owls continues to be as dominant as ever.
