HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Southern Maryland came out of the gates with some fight as they kept the score to 4-2 after the first 12 minutes of the game.
  • The Fighting Owls started to click after that as they scored the next 11 straight goals.
  • Harford was led by the crafty Nina Urban who scored six goals.
  • Julianna Butta and Cidney Gray both added hat tricks to the effort with Courtney Poole scoring two goals with one assist.
  • Natalie Nedd added three points while Kelsie Davis, Mackenzie Wills and Emily Stambaugh all tallied a goal and an assist.
  • Freshman goalkeeper Erica Wright earned her second win with four saves.
