HOW IT HAPPENED

GAME 1

  • Luke Johnson continues to mash as he went 3-4 with 2 runs and 3 RBIs.
  • Peyton Sorrels, Adam Rapp, and Shawn Nickles all added doubles with Nickles scoring three times in the contest.
  • Harford showed off their patience at the plate with 12 walks that led to 17 runs on just 10 hits.
GAME 2
  • Ronnie Krsolovic was handed the ball to start game two and hurled a gem, going five strong innings giving up just 3 hits, 1 unearned run, and three walks with a couple of strikeouts.
  • Justin Fox relieved Krsolovic and pitched two innings giving up just a single hit with two strikeouts.
  • The Fighting Owls continued to hit as Tanner Forry hit a lead-off home run that cleared the pond in left field along with a home run by John Mastrangelo.
  • Adam Rapp had a productive game out of the three spot in the line-up, hitting 2-4 with a run and a couple of RBIs.
