HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Fighting Owls had a tough task in front of them with the best junior college soccer team in the nation coming into Bel Air, Md.
  • Despite the obvious speed and talent of the Mustangs, Harford came out attacking early on with an Eder Arcanjo shot that looked destined to challenge the keeper being blocked in the first minute of play.
  • After that it was all Monroe as they scored a couple of goals in the first half and then adding three more in the second half including a penalty kick for the final goal of the night.
  • Harford was able to unleash just 10 shots all game and only two of which were on goal.

UP NEXT
  • Harford will next travel to Jenkintown, Pa. to take on Manor College on September 16 at 11 AM. 
  • The Blue Jays are 2-4 on the season which included a 2-0 loss to Maryland based Hagerstown CC on September 9.
