Bel Air, Md. -  Due to the snow that has buried Bel Air in a sea of white, Harford athletics has been forced to cancel and postpone a number of contests that were scheduled for the week.

The softball team was most affected, as midweek doubleheaders against Hagerstown and Southern Maryland were postponed to an undetermined later date. The doubleheader against Rowan Burlington was pushed back to March 29 while the weekend series against Louisburg was cancelled.

The baseball team also had a couple of midweek conference games affected as a home game against Catonsville and a road game to Anne Arundel have been postponed without a set date to make up the games. 

Both of the Fighting Owl lacrosse teams were scheduled to play on Thursday, March 22 with the women hosting Frederick and the men traveling to Nassau. Both of those games have been postponed with no make up date announced as of yet.

UPDATE: The snow storm has created additional cancellations to the Fighting Owls athletic schedules. The baseball weekend series planned against Lakeland for Friday and Sunday have been cancelled.

The men's tennis team had their match against Mercer County for Friday, March 23 cancelled in addition to the Harford Invitational that was scheduled for March 24 and 25.

Softball saw another cancellation to their schedule as the Erie doubleheader that was planned for March 26 has also been wiped out. 

The women's lacrosse match against Frederick has been rescheduled for April 6 at 6 PM.
