  • The Short Story: The Fighting Owls saw their second straight top five opponent on Sunday as they squared off against #3 Monroe. Despite being outshot 32-2, Harford kept things close all afternoon before eventually falling 3-2 to the Mustangs.

How It Happened
  • Kevin Dietrich kicked off the scoring early for the Fighting Owls, finishing a pass from Henrique Matos in the 4th minute for a 1-0 lead.
  • The Mustangs tested Harford goalie Mason Mulaney all afternoon, but the freshman keeper would allow just one goal in the first 45 minutes and save 11 shots on the day.
  • Monroe continued to pour on the shots in the second half, finding the back of the net in the 56th and 73rd minute for a 3-1 advantage.
  • Freshman midfielder Raymond Kemousuor found pay dirt in the 86th minute to spark the flame of a potential comeback. Unfortunately, it would be too late on the day, as Monroe left Essex with a 3-2 win.
