Harford Shuts Down Knights

Bel Air, Md. - The Fighting Owls made quick work of Essex Friday afternoon, downing the rival Knights 4-1 in a Md Juco conference duel.
 
Harford's defense shined in contest, holding Essex without a shot for the first half. The Knights would slip one past the Fighting Owls midway through the second, but Harford's offense stepped up with two more goals to walk away with the win.
 
Harford improves to 6-2 (2-1 Md Juco) on the season while Essex falls to 2-5 (1-3 Md Juco).

Turning Point
Essex's Taylor West scored shortly after Loomis' goal to cut Harford's lead in half, but sophomore striker Rachel Bohli would break through and find the back of the net two minutes later to put the ladies in blue back up by two.
