Arnold, Md. - Harford's postseason hopes were dashed by conference rival Anne Arundel, as a pair of second half goals earned the Riverhawks a 2-1 triumph over the Fighting Owls on Tuesday night.
Auston Pellegrino's sixth goal of the year put Harford up 1-0 before the half. The two teams combined for 14 shots in the second, but Anne Arundel tucked home two of their chances midway through the half to pull away with the win.
Harford dips to 7-9 (4-7 Md Juco) with the loss and are now mathematically eliminated from the postseason. Anne Arundel improves to 8-5-1 (5-5-1).
