Bel Air, Md. – Nehemiah Wright scored on a passed ball in the bottom of the tenth, earning Harford a come-from-behind 8-7 win over the Monroe Mustangs, Friday night at Harford Stadium.
Down 7-4 heading into the ninth, Harford loaded up the bases thanks to a hit batsman and a pair of walks. Mustang reliever Jacknell Guzman struck out the next two but allowed
Jake Wyandt to cruise in to home on a wild pitch, bringing the game to 7-5.
Spencer Harbert pounced on Guzman's shaken confidence, crushing a pitch to centerfield for a two out, two-RBI double to send the game into extras.
Mike Taylor (1.2 IP, 0 ER) shut down the Mustangs in the top of the tenth and watched as Monroe tripped over themselves again, this time via passed ball, to earn his third win of the season for Harford.
Harford jumps to 4-3 with the win, while Monroe falls to 1-11 after the loss.
