Bel Air, Md. - Today's baseball doubleheader between Harford and Mercer County has been postponed.
Umpires called things to a halt in the bottom of the second inning due to heavy fog. All statistics from the game will carry over when it is played at a later date.
The stoppage comes at an unfortunate time for the Fighting Owls, who cruised to a 13-1 advantage over the Vikings in less than two innings of play.
Jake Wyandt tacked on the final two runs before the postponement, smashing a ball over the center field wall for his first home run of the year.
Spencer Harbert also homered for the second time this season.
